Almost all the best custom maps have been ported already, it's amazing. The gun game in this game is so fucking good.

Sorry, I meant the best custom maps to me which really isn't other peoples fancy. Just in Gun Game all the main are there, Churches, almost all the texture maps, both versions of lego.
I know most would not consider these "the best", I just love them in Gun game.

Looking forward to getting this tomorrow. The little CS I played on computer was great, but I'm just not a mouse-and-keyboard guy.
I can't see this translating at all well on to consoles, how are you supposed to headshot and stuff quickly without aimassist? =/

@zero - apparently it works fairly well on consoles, not sure if there's any aim assist or not (I'd assume it's like Left 4 Dead 1 & 2 on 360) but I'm sure Valve wouldn't dick over any of their fanbase; and yup that includes console gamers.

Preordered this delicious game on Playstation network and it's a love letter to Counter Strike fans.
Works really well with the playstation Move and Mouse + Keyboard.
I'm really happy with the game, specially because it was only US$11,99, I would gladly pay much more than that.

I've no doubt it'll work, everyone will be on an even playing field but the game's overall movements, pace, body zone specific damage and aggressive gameplay doesn't translate well to a casual audience, I think.
I don't think it will be popular on consoles, especially with the bro gamers comparing it to CoD.

Great game. Really enjoyed the beta. Pissed that I cant play right now since my middle finger is in a splint. Will be playing later this week though.
I will say that Arms Race only has 2 official maps, and that's terrible. It really needs more, especially since its the most fun mode imo. Custom servers are alright but so far haven't been too reliable. (When I play there's only been 1 or 2 running arms race.)

Played the Beta yesterday after pre-ordering and loving it. Brought back great memories from years ago, and with a gorgeous new coat of paint.
Bought the PC and PS3 version, but unfortunately, PSN refuses to let me finish downloading CS:GO despite having no issues downloading anything else. (In fact, it freezes at around 80-90% and then immediately borks my PS3 with freezing and slow loading until I cancel the download.
I'm loving me some GunGame, but I am NOT loving the arcadey maps they force you to play on. Give me regular maps with Arms Race, please.

Played this with m+kb for hours last night. Good times. Even if other filthy console peasants won't play with me, ill have bots.

I was never a big CS fan (I mapped for Action Half-Life, a competing mod). But I got GO and really enjoyed it vs bots last night. Really dislike the lack of 'iron sights', though, didn't realize how used to that I was from other games.
I'm not sure how it would work on console. I think they should completely disable aim-assist, since it's so much about targeting body locations. I played Goldeneye with it off back in the day, did console gamers become total babies over the last decade or something? Oh hey maybe they should add regenerating health, too!
