Didn't win Need for Speed: Shift from our Twitter party? Don't fret! Actually, you have my permission to fret a little, but it's all going to be alright. So long as you have a capable PC, you can try out the sim racer thanks to a new demo.
The London River and the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps are the demo's two tracks, with four cars playable: Dodge Viper, Lotus Elise, BMW M3, and Nissan GT-R. If you have the patience to earn ten stars, you can even unlock the Pagani Zonda F, an absolute beauty.
As for console gamers, you'll have to wait it out until October when the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 demos for Shift become available.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
