Grab LittleBigPlanet cheap at GoGamer in the next 72 hours photo

Honestly, I only put the dollar signs there because I can't bear to stare into a Sackboy's soulless, dead eyes.

But hey, if you're down with LBP, then do I have a deal for you. GoGamer.com has the game in one of its "48 Hour Madness" promotions. What does this mean for you, the everyday gamer who wants their fix of user-generated platforming? A savings of almost $40, that's what.

It is a limited-time special, as indicated by the preceding paragraph, but it actually lasts a bit longer than 48 hours. You have until the clock strikes midnight (Pacific Daylight Savings Time) on Saturday, March 21st before this bargain turns into a pumpkin. A pumpkin made of burlap and filled with what I hope is sand but is probably a million wriggling maggots. God, those Sackboys creep me the hell out.

[Thanks, darktravesty!]

It should also be noted that they are selling the awesome adventure game Gabriel Knight 3 for under $5.00. The sad part is that GK3 ends on a cliffhanger and there is little chance they will ever make a GK4. Curse you Sierra, how far you've strayed away from the awesomeness of my youth.

Since this is the PAL version does the PS3 have the 50/60 hz EU/USA video frequency difference or is that gone now that the output is digital?

My PAL version of Okami for the PS2 had an option to set the game to 50Hz or 60Hz. Maybe it's the same thing because the site says it's region free and will work with any PS3.

I bit. I have never bought a PAL version of a game. I hope there will be no problems. I noticed the NTSC version was available for only $26 after I bought the game.

$40 off? that's epic. I'm too broke to afford a PS3 let alone buying even discounted games in addition to it though.

In my local store (Blockbuster, in the UK) LBP is £15 pre-owned!

This game is worth £50! A definite must own, must not trade in title.

PAL and NTSC differences only apply to SDTVs and consoles. If you have an HDTV it doesn't matter.

Is gamedealdaily a reputable site? I placed my order at gogamer this morning and noticed my order was canceled. What gives? I guess they don't have any more in stock although it says it's in stock.

Sweet, I'll be picking this up. It'll be a nice change of pace in between my Katamri Damacy/Ninja Gaiden Sigma sessions.

Is gogamer reputable? I get an email confirmation with my order yet I cannot log in. I try to reset my password and they email me to the email listed in the invoice saying that email does not match a existing account. What? Exactly.

Nevermind. If you pay via Paypal, there are issues in which the website will not actually create your account. Called Customer Service, number I got through Paypal, and it was all taken care of. Other than having to make a European PSN for my PAL version of Little Big Planet, any other issues I should be aware of?

I think I regret getting the PAL version. Amounts to 26 dollars and some change, but I could have paid 5 more dollars and gotten the NTSC version.
