Oh, and my favorite, PAID games that have micro transactions in them. Mass Effect 2, Battlefield 3, etc. Both EA games by the way. Both of which I bought used and passed around to as many friends as possible. Robbed about 20 sales from EA each with those two games. A drop in the bucket for sure, but my way of fighting back against anti consumer practices like micro transactions into $60 games.
I approve of what you do @EKGProd but we can only know if it's that kind of shit game trying it out. Keep fighting the good fight, I'm with you.
"I've spent about £20, mostly on keys, and don't regret a penny. It feels like tipping the best bartender in the world when all the drinks are on the house."
Valve is quietly teaching the world how to properly make free 2 play games.
I seriously doubt they'll update the console versions (the ones I play) with this good stuff because console updates cost money and Monolith doesn't have money. It's a shame because this is really the only multiplayer FPS I like.
I can see why they wouldn't, but that still puts me off. Why would I ever want to pay twice for the same useless virtual goods?
I followed the instructions on their website and got lots of early unlocks. It's cool that they're doing something for those who paid for the game.
I believe he was referring to the additional costumes and guns that were not part of any story addon, just random glut to rake customers for money.
