Got 9 minutes? Enjoy the Video Game Rock Medley!

6:30 PM on 04.18.2012

The above full sequence of awesomeness comes courtesy of Swedish musician Fredrik Larsson, better known as FreddeGredde. Even if you don't know him by name, I guarantee you've heard this man's handiwork before. For one, he made this medley of tracks from Mega Man 9, but much more importantly, he was responsible for "Wind Waker Unplugged," my absolute favorite Zelda musical arrangement EVER!

With the help of drummer Louis Abramson from the band JOLLY, Fredde tears through 34 tracks spanning multiple platforms and generations. Represented games include Cave Story, Shenmue, The Secret of Monkey Island, Mega Man 2, Fire Emblem, Halo, Yoshi's Island, Dr. Mario, and tons more. If you aren't busy this evening (and why would you be, you slackers!?), check the whole song out!
