Google continues their plans for complete Internet domination with the reveal of the Chrome web store. The store will be a central location for web applications that can be installed on any "modern browser" despite being named after Google's web browser. The store will sell various types of apps and videogames look to play a big part as Plants vs Zombies and Lego Star Wars were teased in the upcoming store's lineup.
Google isn't talking specifics on their plans as of yet, but the store should be open later this year. Check out Engadget's coverage of the web store for a look at some of the non-videogame related apps.

Just a guess, but its a game embedded in a web browser, so I don't see why other browsers couldn't also do the same.
