Goku fights Naruto in this crazy J-Stars Victory teaser

11:00 AM on 04.08.2013

J-Stars Victory Vs, an upcoming insane looking fighting game that pits Shonen Jump stars Goku (Dragon Ball), Naruto (Naruto), Toriko (Toriko) and Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece) against each other, has donned its first teaser trailer.

It's basically the childhoods of 80s, 90s, and 21st century kids combined and as awesome as you can imagine, and more character reveals will no doubt be on the way at some point. As my esteemed colleague Tony Ponce pointed out, this has happened before to some extent -- but this is new!

There's no current release date, but we do know that in typical Namco Bandai fashion, it is being developed for the PS3 and Vita. This seems like it would take a lot of effort to get localized, but if Bandai keeps the same model as their One Piece games with 100% Japanese dialog, digital only, and skipping the Vita versions, I can see it happening.
