I never did play the original Godfather. Even though the Wii version lets you choke a b**ch, I just couldn’t get myself interested in what appeared to be a rather average looking game. Maybe it would have been more appealing if I’d seen the movies.

After reading Hamza’s generally positive hands on with the sequel, Godfather II, I must say that I’m at least starting to get curious about the series. The new crew management and Don’s View sound particularly interesting, but then I’ve always been a sucker for RPG and RTS elements.

Godfather II isn’t coming out until February, so there’s still plenty of time for EA to wow me with new footage and details. Hopefully they won’t cause Anthony any further emotional pain, though.

I'm playing The Godfather right now. Its better than I thought it was going to be. It was a little slow at the beginning, but it is getting better. It is above average I think, but nothing more than that.

Whoever came up with the idea to do ANOTHER Godfather game should have tried to nab Rockstar to do it. That would've been sweet. EA's just gonna fuck it up by wrapping it in DRM and releasing it full of bugs.
