We encourage our overseas friends to be super sneaky and make a friend in the United States who can receive your prize, and then you two figure out the customs/logistics. Be cautious about who you trust, obviously. Employees of destructoid.com, their advertising or promotion agencies, those involved in the production, development, implementation or handling of Contests, any agents acting for, or on behalf of the above entities, their respective parent companies, officers, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, service providers, prize suppliers any other person or entity associated with the Contests (collectively “Contest Entities”) and/or the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members (whether related or not) of each such employee, are *not* eligible and will be fired and publicly beaten if are caught participating. All U.S., federal, state and local and regulations apply.

2. 3. Entry Period: The start and end dates/times of each Contest (the “Entry Period”) will be posted on the applicable Contest site.

4. Entry: To enter a Contest, follow the instructions on the Contest site. Submission will result in one (1) entry. The number of times you can enter the Contest will be posted on the applicable Contest site. The use of any agencies or automated software to submit entries will void all entries submitted by that person.

5. Drawing: At the conclusion of the Entry Period, we will select the names of the potential winners in a random drawing of all eligible entries received during each Entry Period. The number of winners to be selected in a specific Contest will be posted on the applicable Contest site. The odds of being selected as a potential winner depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Potential winners will be contacted via email and will be asked to provide their full name, age and mailing address within a specified time period. If a potential winner does not respond within the timeframe stated in the notification email, we may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from all entries received during the Entry Period. Limit one (1) prize per household per Contest.

6. Requirements of the Potential Winners: Winners will be notified by the e-mail address associated with their account on destructoid.com.com and/or receive a Private Message on destructoid.com.com or through a Twitter Direct Message/Facebook message. 7. Prize(s): The prize(s) (including each prize’s approximate retail value) available to be won in a specific Contest will be posted on the Contest site. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The winners are responsible for any taxes and fees associated with receipt or use of a prize. Prizes will be mailed between 1 to 45 business days after winners have replied with their required info.

8. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In case of a dispute as to the owner of an entry, entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the screen name from which the entry is made. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Contest Entities’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest, and in no event shall the Contest Entities be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

10. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsors in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Virginia or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Virginia.

11. I saw Metalica live once...

I don't remember the concert, but the women in leather pants pop up in my mind.

It is also the reason I no longer drink when going to public events.

whatever band is playing at Anime Central this year?

Best concert experience would have to be when The Pillows played at Anime Central. That shit was nuts I was front and center.

I'm most excited for Coachella for the sole reason that both Faith No More and the gorillaz are headlining. Seriously, Mike Patton and Damon Albarn within 24 hours of each other, how could I not be excited?

In 2004 I saw MUSE while in my freshmen year in college in chicago. I always had a tape recorder in my pocket to record my thoughts. I forgot about the pat down when you enter the building and since recorders were not allowed I had to run all the way back to my car about a mile away and almost didn't make it in for the beginning.

It was one of their first tours for their absolution album, completely rocked the house and my ears rang for a month after

I went crowd surfing during a concert. I was amazed that no one dropped me. I made it to the back of the crowd where security was waiting for me. Best day of my life ever. I must have crowd surfed for about 50 feet. Coachella, is going ot be epic this year.

I went to the concert for some metal band. I wish I could tell you who they were, but I don't remember much from that night. Not cause I was drunk, no, because the only things I remember from that night are getting an elbow to the face in a mosh pit and then waking up in the back of my car much later with a broken nose. It wasn't cool then, but I look back now and laugh.

There was a friend of mine that (fucking somehow) got me tickets to Jay-Z's "last concert" before his "retirement" back in 04' I believe. Coincidentally, "Fade to Black" was filmed at that concert and knowing that years later, and seeing such a great performance stood out for me.

I also caught Metallica live on the Death Magnetic Tour. Excellent performing skills.

They Might Be Giants also put on a sweet show, if you are down with the Johns. :)

Best and Worst, both the same, seeing The Pixies in Lowell MA. The concert was fantastic, but it got so hot my now wife passed out on the floor, and I had to pick her up and carry her out of the floor area. :(

Still most memorable concert event I've ever been to.

Seeing Devin Townsend, BTBAM, Scale The Summit, and Cynic in Louiville, Ky. That was the coolest concert I have ever been to. Especially when the singer of Cynic had us all do Yoga for five seconds to kind of usher in the next song.

A couple of years ago some friends and I went to see Soulfly In New York, they took a good hour to come out on stage, but once they did the place went crazy, every song was better than the last, then half way through they got these steel drums and started using them for one of their songs. They played for a good while too, it was also my first time in a mosh pit looking back it was the most fun I've had in a concert.

Back in 1997 I got to go on stage for a PANTERA concert becuase I was doing an internship at a local radio station for my Senior year project. After being on stage for the entire concert I got to go back stage and meet all of the band. They all signed a drum head for me, and then I watched them sign girls body parts. I then got to take pictures with all of the band members, YES EVEN DIMEBAG!!!

THAT WAS EASILY THE BEST CONCERT EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE, AND I DOUBT IT COULD EVER BE TOPPED. BUT SURPRISE ME DTOID AND MAKE IT HAPPEN.

The best concert experience I had was with my late brother. We went to an Audioslave concert and it was the last big thing we did together before he passed away. It was a great concert and they even played some Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine. It was one of my best concert experiences ever.

My first concert experience was Woodstock 99. I was 16 years old, and I was pumped to see Metallica and Limp Bizkit. I was front and center for the James Brown opener. I thought the mosh pit was going to kill me during the Offspring's set. I crowd surfed during Korn's Blind opener. I was thrown into the mud pit, and then I realized it was only muddy because the port-o-potties were tipped over.

I didn't take any drugs while I was there, but I was definitely enthralled by the naked people dancing at the Fatboy Slim dance party at 4am. Not only that, but being a 16 year old dork, it was the first time I saw a boob in real life! Naked bike races? Of course I'm going to be watching!

One of the best show experiences I've ever had was a Wednesday night about half a year ago in a dirty little club downtown. There were only about seven people there, half of them my best friends. We all got a few drinks in us and listened to some of the best independent blue-eyed soul/ folk singer/ song writers playing the circuit today. The drunkeness helped to amplify the warmth and happiness of the night. It was one of those feelings that makes you think that everything is perfect and you never want it to end.

Either that or the time I got my D S'd in broad daylight in a car on the streets of downtown Augusta, GA by some groupie.

The best concert I've ever gone to was just this past November. I went to a Shinedown concert with about five of my good friends, and the best part about the concert was my discovery of the band Sick Puppies, one of their opening acts. They're now one of my favorite bands haha.

Back in high school I got a free ticket to see Godsmack. I wasn't a fan but free is free. What made it rememberable though was I and My two friends push our way to the front row. There was a 300 pound pure muscle gay dude next to my friend with his 100 pount 5 foot nothing boyfriend. My friend kept getting pushed into the little dude and the big guy flipped out. He started screaming, "Get the fuck away from my boyfriend!" and then he head butted by friend in the nose. Surprisingly my friend was fine and the two dudes just disappeared right after. It was freakin surreal.

not looking forward to anything this year, it's hard to say what my favorite show that I have attended (and not played at) is, one of the most memorable was seeing medicine on my brthday back in the early 90's, I swear that I have never seen a louder or more insane show in my life- it was even more "wall of noise" than my bloody valentine that I had seen shortly before that

Going to a KISS/Aerosmith concert. During an Aerosmith song, some guy got up on stage, did a stage dive expecting people to catch him. Everyone backed away from him. He did a faceplant on some chairs and security escorted him out. Justice served.

I saw Marilyn Manson when I was 12 at a local club where my uncle was a sound guy and I ran into him and daisy berkowitz in the restroom and they were messing with me by pretending to look at me while I peed, I'm 28 now. I also met with Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, and Dimmu Borgir as they passes through El Paso or were recording at Sonic Ranch

Marilyn Manson, Mississippi nights in st. Louis mo. 1997. It was before manson became super popular. It was my first concert and it was a small venue. I was moshing in the pit when I looked up near the stage only to see Manson throwing a 2/3 full water bottle overhand into the crowd. He threw it hard. It hit me square on the forhead and knocked me silly:) True story. Marilyn Manson knocked me the fuck out:)

Seeing Radiohead in 1997 at Glastonbury was by far the best show I’ve ever seen, and is arguably the best headliner for the infamous U.K. festival. The band was in top form, performing every song like it was their last time playing them. Right before they played the song paranoid android, Thom Yorke asked the lighting guy to turn the lights on the crowd so he could see us. I remember reading in an interview later on that the feeling he got seeing an ocean of people, the first time playing at Glastonbury, staring up at the stage was the most incredible feeling in his career. The look he gave the crowd, after the initial shock set in was a big smile, and then they played the epic Paranoid Android. Truly the best band of this generation, at the best festival in the world at the time, it would seem nothing can ever top Radiohead at Glastonbury in 1997.
