Go to the carnival with House of the Dead: Overkill

Halloween is less than two weeks away and that can only mean one thing: it's time to kick some zombie ass. Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is already upon us, but there's also another zombie slaughter-fest vying for your attention. It's an ultra-violent on rails shooter known as House of the Dead: Overkill - Extended Cut and it's making its HD debut on the PlayStation 3 next Tuesday.

If you didn't play House of the Dead: Overkill on the Wii in 2009, you should definitely check out the PS3 port just to experience the extremely over-the-top presentation and truly memorable characters. Also, Detective Isaac Washington's insistence on dropping an f-bomb every possible chance he gets is pretty awesome. As always there's a trailer to get you excited for the game. It's got a carnival. A zombie carnival.

Zenzizenzic now being published by Adult Swim Games

Making a case yet again as to why it's one of the most awesome publishers around, Adult Swim Games will be publishing the frenetic twin-stick shooter Zenzizenzic. After the game completed a successful Kickstarter campaign, Du...more

Fortified is a base defense shooter inspired by 1950s science fiction

Admittedly, Fortified looks rough around the edges at this pre-alpha stage, but I'm liking the concept of a third-person shooter centered around base defense in a 1950s sci-fi setting. You and up to three friends will throw ...more
