Hey, you know what game is pretty awesome? Big Bang Mini! Well, at least I thought it was when I spent 15 minutes with it at Penny Arcade Expo last year.
Don't believe me? Why not try it out? SouthPeak Games wanted us to let you know that that there's a demo of the Arkedo Studio-developed DS title up on the Nintendo Channel. I would have told you sooner, expect that I was busy downloading the demo. And then playing it. I have my priorities.
Hamza did a pretty hilarious interview with Arkedo's founder, Camille Guermonprez. It was all about the game's fancy box, which features -- hold on to your seats -- lenticular art. Yeah, it's actually pretty cool. Check it out.

And I'm getting the game, I'm a sucker for lenticular art.
The controls are intuitive and work really well. The gameplay is very simple but requires some skill to master kind of like some of developer Treasure's bullet hell games.The graphics are basic but the special effects look nice and The music is decent. For $19, I think its worth buying.
Go buy it.
