Xbox Live Arcade is building up to what's likely to be a hit-after-hit drain on many of our bank accounts. We've got Double Fine's Trenched coming a week from Wednesday, then this year's packed Summer of Arcade line-up shortly after. Then, get this, ACE Team's new game is releasing next. Finally!

Yes, I'm referring to the one with boulders in it. Joystiq has pinned Rock of Ages as releasing on August 31, which seems fairly far off at this point, but we'll have plenty to keep up busy in the days leading up to it. When it comes to a concept as fresh as Rock of Ages, I'm happy to wait until it's ready.

Rock of Ages now on Steam with slick bonuses

The latest game from ACE Team and Atlus hasn't got a PlayStation Network release date pinned down yet (for now, it's a simple "soon"), but Rock of Ages has made it over to Steam. This version includes bonus content like a fam...more

Review: Rock of Ages

Chilean independent studio ACE Team made a name for itself with Zeno Clash, an oddball game that continues to freak me out to this day. (Do not Google "Father-Mother." Don't.) These guys have garnered a reputation for produci...more

Ain't Trollin: Rock of Ages PC is getting extra goodies

Though ACE Team and Atlus' boulder-bashing bonanza Rock of Ages is out on Xbox Live right now, but PC players won't get a chance to smash their hard balls against wood (not in game form at least) until September 7th. This new...more

Rock of Ages' two-player split screen... rocks

Surely you've heard about Rock of Ages, the upcoming boulder roller coming to Xbox Live Arcade from Atlus at the end of this month. I had a really great time playing with Wesley today in the game's two-player split screen mod...more

Rock of Ages: Rock beats everything

Atlus has done some great stuff in the past, and Rock of Ages looks just as good. This trailer had me rolling (har har). If you are watching this and wondering what exactly is going on (like I was), you can find an...more

Crummy: Power Rangers' Saban is going after Chroma Squad

Behold Studios' Chroma Squad is about managing a brand new sentai television series and, being an in-depth parody, it of course draws inspiration from real-life shows, including -- but far from limited to -- Power Rangers. In...more

To dye for: Invisible Inc. is my kind of strategy-stealth game

A chasm in stealth games tends to be player skill and the supposed skills of super sleuth avatars. You're often eased into the situation, your lack of skill assumed, or you just fumble your way through -- especially with the ...more

Oh man, I need Halfway in my life right now

I already liked Chucklefish. The indie developer best known for making Starbound has gone on to act as a publisher for smaller teams with great ideas. The studio has helped to release Hopoo Games' Risk of Rain, and is p...more
