Global Agenda gets release date, limited edition photo

Steam has let me know that Hi-Rez's rather cool looking third-person shooter Global Agenda is coming to digital distribution and stores on February 1, 2010. If you've never heard of the game, it's one of those games with optional subscription models. It's exclusive to the PC, and plays something like a cross between Crackdown and a day in the life of Boba Fett.

Pre-ordering the game gets you exclusive beta access along with an exclusive Commonwealth helmet and Elf head with which to customize your character. The boxed version of the game will ship with a special edition that includes an art book and poster.

Global Agenda seems like a pretty good little title, so it may very well be worth checking out. In fact, I think I'm going to see if I can check it out and then let you know what it's like!

I'm glad it wasn't just me who noticed the whole "look-a like-a Crackdown" armor.

These armors look like Hellgate London! And sir, that's not good!
I've heard of this game lats year, people were saying that it was a copy of Team Fortress 2 or something like that.

I had a chance to go play this at Hi-Rez awhile back and it was a lot of fun. I look forward to getting this in February.

Looks cool...if I had $4000 to spend on a gaming PC that my wife and kids couldn't touch...then I'd probably just go out and buy another PS3, a 360, a bunch of badass games for each and two big HDTVs.

:P
