i got excited and then i've read that it's 70 POUNDS and not 70 EUROS :/
with all those games coming out i don't have that kind of money or pretty much any money for more games til like march 2012 and i still plan on buying only 6-7 games at full price in the next 3 months - rest, will be titles i'm catching up on(since they will be cheap now) and those on Steam sales.

You guys should jump on that Trails in the Sky package... absolutely great JRPG. Sorta runs in the vein of Lunar 1 but instead of being a Dragon Master you're climbing the "Bracer" ranks.

So is this Persona 2 any good then? As someone who adores both P3 and P4 i'm kind of wary about going back into past series games since I hear they're not the same kind of thing. What should someone expect from playing Persona 2 for the first time, particularly one living in Europe where I don't believe the other half of the game (still don't know how that works) has ever been made available.
@Discarded: Persona 2 kicks fucking ass, but you need to be able to like something different from the Persona you know.
Basically, it's a game which alternates CONSTANTLY between being nightmarish, being comical and being downright depressing. It has absolutely no social elements (thank god), dungeons while better than 4 are still boring, you can create the shops you want in the world by spreading rumours (you can have one shop buy for a good price your stuff but sell shit items, you can have a high-price high-quality ratio, stuff like that), characters are great and very well-developed and you fight the goddamn Hitler.
Also, maybe I was right not to import this. Collector's edition here I come!
(also I could poke a Fatlus joke at how the standard size for the t-shirt is L, but I won't)
