Mmm. Ghostbusters, I am excited for you. The exclusive video from Gametrailers you can watch after the jump shows off an aspect of the upcoming game that many gamers have been curious about: multiplayer mode. I'm not that big on multiplayer myself, but I have to admit this looks like a game that would be a blast to play on your own or with friends. I'm especially ecited about going head to head with the rather fierce looking Stay Puft (is it me or did he never look that scary in the original movie?).
So yeah, a little bit awesome. Ghostbusters: The Video Game comes out on June 16th for just about every modern console imaginable. Are you convinced you need it on day one, or gonna wait until the official Destructoid review?
I'll have to check reviews first, because the game looks decent so far, but not good enough to justify a purchase. Either way the reviews will hit way before I get the game since I'm a European 360 owner.
Looks awesome! Waiting until I rent it first....looks like ALOT of fun, but who knows how long that could last! Needless to say, I am looking forward to this game!!
What Justice said. Also looks like it could end up being a bit repetitive? Even though it's Ghostbusters, it will still need enough variety throughout the game to keep things interesting imo.

All new weapons? There's only one weapon in the whole entire ghostbuster series. How can you variation weapons of the proton pack? Also, didn't they just cross the streams multiple times in the gameplay trailer? Why hasn't the world fucking imploded? All that aside, this looks great.
I loooooove me some fried marshmallows! This game looks like it's coming along well but it'll have to take a backseat at the moment for Batman: AA and Fight Night R4.

Did you even watch the movies? They crossed the streams in the first movie and they had the slime packs in the 2nd. It stands to reason they would come up with new ghostbusting tools.

This is going to be fantastic. And there better be some penalties for crossing the streams, it just doesn't feel right unless you get in trouble for doing something you're not supposed to be doing. Unless you're fighting Stay-Puft, then that's understandable.

so stoked on this. I've been looking forward to this ever since that first leaked screen. It's looking really good.
here's hoping for a horde/survival mode as well. It'd really add to the game's longevity.
i'll wait for Dtoid's Terminator and Prototype reviews though.
