Earlier this morning, we received a news tip via carrier pigeon. Nothing too out of the ordinary, at least in comparison to some of the insanity that takes place at this fine establishment. But what really got me interested was the tip's opening statement. I'm paraphrasing here, but it essentially amounted to "you guys cover anything and everything related to Steam, so why not give Games for Windows a chance too?" You know what? The guy has a strong point, which leads us to the meat of this post. Batman: Arkham Asylum is going to be a Games for Windows LIVE title. That means achievements, and uh ... I'm not entirely sure what else. But props to the GFW LIVE team for securing another title, because lord only knows they need it after getting the absurd amount of flack they currently do.
Here's today's formerly-live Destructoid Show, on which I wear a bad shirt again.
Nintendo had one of their little Nintendo Direct press conference thingies this morning, and a bunch of news came out of that. They're also d...
Batman battles the relentless Deathstroke in this new teaser trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins, and honestly, that's about all you're going to get. Batman scowls, the sword comes out, and he blocks it with his arm blades li...
Maxwell and Lily's next Scribblenauts adventure sees the pair venturing into the DC Comics universe through the power of their magic notebook. The siblings love comics, and the whole reason they even want to enter DC's unive...
If you're looking for your weekly MOBA intake, look no further than WB Games and Turbine with their newest update to Infinite Crisis. You can take in all of Gaslight Catwoman's glory and ferocity in the above video. Her mainly melee skill set coupled with stealth abilities can make her a deadly opponent in any game. We've grown accustomed to Batman being voiced by Kevin Conroy over the years. He is the role, as far as I'm concerned, which is why it was great to see him be a part of Rocksteady's Arkham games. Regrettably, it sou... The next Scribblenauts, tentatively titled Scribblenauts Unmasked, will take place in the universe of DC Comics, including characters like Batman and locations like the Batcave, IGN reports. The title is for PC, Wii U, and 3D...
LEGO Batman: DC Super Heroes is now available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. The game offers both a classic or use the new touch screen specific control scheme. You can also unlock characters the normal way or... Walk forward. Make observations. Osmosis. Come out on the other side with knowledge.
The musical brilliance of GMC Fosho has graced Destructoid before, but now we even have a videogame-related reason to share him with you, thanks to this in-depth, incisive tutorial for Injustice: Gods Among Us, set to some delicious, Shirley Walker-inspired beats and poignant lyrics. Injustice: Gods Among Us is finally here home consoles, and if you haven't had a chance to experience it yet, there is an iOS version available for free.
To be clear, this is not a full fighting game experience in the slighte... When DC Comics’ most popular heroes and villains appeared in 2008’s Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, Aquaman was nowhere to be found. Thought of as a laughing stock with a shaky history in videogames -- the less sai...
