Also this method has been around for a long long time.
This one just happens to have skins for two games.
Someone make one with a custom skin function to program and art up for any game and ya have it made... with crappy controls...
Also, wouldn't it be simple as hell for Razer etc. to make a small device that did this stand-alone? Or why not integrate this into a regular controller like the Onza?
Still, this is a pretty neat concept. I'm curious what other game/device interfaces might be possible.
Also, I don't own an iProduct, so fuck you anyway!
@Jinx - tilt control is the most obvious and we have a wii style controller thats in beta. Things that take advantage of motion hardware thats in just about every mobile device now are ideal. Other gaming interfaces that would benefit are local multiplayer, board/card games (where every player needs to see something different) etc.
@jebussaves88 - android coming soon. Code is 99% there but we're focused on iOS to get the gameplay all set first
I agree that there is a certain value to implementing this into devices that many people already own and that already have motion control technology in them (iThings and Android), as opposed to offering a stand alone product like some here have suggested. That being said, I love buttons, keys, and other physical things. If we can get a biofeedback touchscreen going that mimics the feel of pressing a physical button, we'll be golden.
and why should i use the iphone over a game pad?
