Get your own Kratos Blade of Chaos for $123.99 photo

Without question, God of Wars' Kratos is a bad ass with or without a weapon in hand. But those blades attached to his arms, the Blades of Chaos, are downright frightening

United Cultery is bringing them home this October, making available the officially licensed "Blade of Chaos." The 12 7/16" blade is constructed from solid-cast zinc aluminum, and designed to look like the blades from the games. The thing comes with a stand, emblazoned with the God of War logo. Price? Just $123.99.

Of course, you're going to want two to complete your Kratos costume, so you're looking at spending close to $250 on these bad boys. Pre-orders start July 23. Don't poke your eye out.

I've seen replica sets of these blades for way cheaper. $50-100 for a pair. Quality may be cheaper, but the price is far more reasonable.

Kratos looks like an angered emaciated farmer in that illustration. Where's the beef?

Seeing as how I could have gotten Chaos blades in Vancouver for $160 Canadain, not licensed mind you, this just seems pricey.

Wicked, but pricey.

I mean, this is not the first time a game weapon has been made IRL, so I'm pretty sure this isn't going to "not end well."
