Get your own Final Fantasy XII Judge Gabranth helmet for $1100 photo
     Final Fantasy

Final Fantasy XII is a splendid role-playing game. In fact, I've recently started replaying it. I forgot how great the story was. I like it, but I don't like it enough to buy this piece of memorabilia.

Importer Play-Asia has a 1:1 scale Judge Magister Gabranth helmet on sale for the low and completely reasonable price of $1099. This bitch is life-sized. By putting it over your head, you could be come almost as imposing and powerful-looking as Gabranth himself.  And it will protect your head from all the bullies making fun of you for wearing it and spending that much.

Here's Play-Asia's description from their mailer:

Gabranth's helmet is scaled at 1/1 life size and crafted to an excellent degree, complete with the dark metallic colorings, tarnished golden trimmings and carvings along the mask. Feel the power that exudes from it to fully appreciate the strength of the characters who has been wearing it.

They seem to try to justify the price by suggesting that you could pass this down as a family heirloom. That very thought boggles the mind.

DO WANT. Somehow I don't think it would fit my gigantic head though.

Gabranth was the best thing about XII in all honesty...

Apart from Basch. He was the Jecht of that game. Manliness incarnate.

Holy fuck.... I want that.

FXII is the antithesis of Final Fantasy games; where the gameplay outshines the characters and narrative.

Truth be told - the judges, Balthier and Basch were the only characters that weren't bland as batshit. Penelo? WTF... she was completely irrelevant.

Even though the game was shit, it would still be pretty BA to own something like that. Seriously, DO WANT!

$1100? assholes, that's too much, it's almost as if they were trying to pay for obtaining a bunch of metal andg some dudes with special abilities to cut it and assemble in certain specific ways, then pay for some awful amounts of paint and the dudes with the expertise to color said metal in certain ways then paying for the costs of factory-made plastic bases and boxes, then paying for the dudes to work the machinery required to put said plastic, and worked metal in boxes and gas for sending them to wholesalers everywhere.

Totally indecent price.

Fuck yeah. I'm a bit torn about FFXII. Some parts are amazing and really well done. Some are meh to shitty. I love Gabranth(and of course Balthier), I can't wait to unlock him in Dissidia.

It's cool, but man, I'd rather spend that much money on a cool light up pimped out Kamen Rider mask. For that much, I'd get spinners on it.

Is this the guy who sounds like Darth Vader, or is he one of the boring ones? I have to admit, the helmet is kinda cool, but purchasing it is admitting that that character is worth $1100. Which he isn't. God, in fact the story sucked. "This is Star Wars. We're evil. Now run that way for eight hours to see another cut scene. *FST KSSSHHHH*"
