The people over at The Cover Project have gone and made a custom cover for Wii Sports, so that we all can enjoy it. They're offering two covers, which run about 3.5 megs, and look very nice. The only problem is getting a white case at this point. You can order them directly from Nintendo for $1.50 for one case, $6 for 5, or $13 for 10. 4ColorRebellion has a better suggestion, though, saying that you should go to Target and get their one cent Wii preview DVD that comes in a nice white case.  Now I've got something to do when I get home for Thanksgiving: pick up a dozen or so copies of this DVD so that I can have a surplus of Wii cases.

What does Wii Sports come in then? Just a paper slip or something?

My copy came in a ripped paper slip. At least after I removed the duct tape-like sticker from the front cover.

Also, if anyone needs bulk DVD cases, there's sites that sell multi colored cases for a LOT cheaper.

Like bulk can be ordered for less than $1 a case including shipping.

Shop around. Nintendo isn't using anything really worth keeping anyhow when it comes to DVD cases. Just some cheap generic case. Amaray is the one most commonly used and seen. Sony used them with their PS2 cases.

Go to your local Gamestop/EB Games and get some Wii cases. They should have a ton of marketing lying around including actual Wii boxes. I snagged a bunch myself.

I'm really glad they're doing this. I was kind of bummed it just came in a little cardboard sleeve.

WTF?!?! they don't even come in cases? They must realize that the medium of DVD is not nearly as resilient as their old cartridges. Im sure that in a couple of years there will be crap tons of these games that are used and all scratched to hell....someone should think ahead and plan out a good way to refurbish scratched Wii games in the future. Could make a killing!
