In a couple of hours we'll commence the theatrical production of our tenth episode of Podtoid, Destructoid's weekly video game podcast hosted by Robert Summa with guest editors Nex and Aaron Linde.
Instead of hearing me mumble on this show this week I'm proud to bring you two very special guests: Dtoid community manager Ron Workman and our brand spankin' new editor Colette Bennett (who's pen name was Nakigo, and by the way we're about to all Pro on you) who recently leveled up Destructoid's ovaries, as Faith was previously the only babe breaking up the sausage party.
If you have any questions for her or the hot stories of the week (now conveniently located on the right hand side's Buzz Watch) please drop your comments below. Casey is also taking love song dedications if you'd like to tell a secret lover you want to pwn them McNasty.
New to Podtoid? You can download all the episodes on MP3 for free on www.podtoid.com or subscribe to us on iTunes on the house.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Anyways I would love to get your feelings on the whole sony PR team pretending to be a blog thing (http://alliwantforxmasisapsp.com/blog/)

Yeah, I've been reading that too. That should be a case study on how NOT to do guerrilla marketing. :)

Also, talk about how much I rule.
That is all.
Are we going to be seeing/hearing more of Geoff Mendicino? he is fucking hilarious
Holy crap Desxter! I need to get back on the forum...
For those of you who bash Sony all the time, think about this.. The gaming industry would be shit without them. They introduced the playstation which helped push Nintendo along with the N64 which helped Sony develop the PS2 and then Microsoft jumped into the ring with the original XBox. Without Sony I doubt Microsoft would have ventured into gaming and who the hell knows what the gaming industry would be like right now.
Currently HDTV maxes out at 1080P. Surely they are working on a higher resolution picture and eventually we will be buying higher resolution tv's then 1080P. Will these next gen consoles be able to support them with just a firmware update or are they going to need a complete overhaul to be able to display at a higher resolution then 1080P? Or do these consoles max out at 1080P?
Keep in mind that it's really only people on internet message boards who carry such a passion for a particular game company. Your average person could care less if it's on an X-box, PS, Nintendo, whatever, so long as they are playing a fun game. Those of us in the "hardcore" seem to often forget that we are not the norm, but the exception. Most of my friends game casually, and could care less what system has the largest install base, that's just us.
We may even have seen the golden years of the Dreamcast. I'm not sure if gaming would be better or worse for it, but how I wish that system had been given longer to thrive.
Oh hells yah!
What do you guys use your PSP for?
I use mine for browsing the web on the toilet, to say I got one and GTA.
After the Red Bull and Full Throttle comments by you guys last week I am glad that I only drink Monster.
That makes sense, I've always been a casual gamer and I, like your friends don't really care which system I have, I just want one of them! I've always been a huge fan of games but not to the hardcore level as most of you.
Dreamcast had some quality games, I remember playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer waaaay to much.
