Oh, Monkey Watch. This song forced me to realize how bad my rhythm actually was. I tweeted Holmes about it and he made me feel better, though.
I've been having tons of fun with this game, I'm about halfway through it now. My favorite ones so far are the Samurai one, See Saw, the one with the smiling balls flying into the air hitting none smiling balls, and the one with the executive pigs (or are they dogs?) spinning in chairs.
So was the DS Rhythm Heaven just easy relative to the others? I didn't find it too difficult, but then I tried a rom of the original rhythm tengoku, and I couldn't tell if it was really hard, or the timing was off because it was a rom. Never finished it because I couldn't get a couple down no matter how many tries.

This game needs to be more popular -- no one I know plays it, and it sold like 3-4 copies total at the Gamestops I frequent.

Playing rhythm based games via emulator is tough, because there is an extra delay for inputs. I forget why the emulator delay is greater than if you were playing a game on its intended platform, and for most games it is rarely noticeable, but the delay makes a lot of emulated rhythm games virtually unplayable.
