The Last Remnant is hot. In my mind, it's the next big Square Enix console release. Here recently, their other titles haven't made any kind of serious impact. But from what I've played of this one, I think it's going to be a solid title.

The simultaneous U.S./Japan release date of November 20th is right around the corner. If you're looking forward to it as much as we are, you might want to jump on this pre-order deal.

Amazon.com has knocked $20 off the title for pre-order customers, taking the price down to $39.99. With this discounted pre-order, you'll also recieve a bonus. Packaged with your order will be a code to unlock three special formations (Goblet, Scatterswarm, and Catapult) which can be used in battle.

Also be sure to check out the new Japanese commercial for The Last Remnant (above). It's short, but it gets me pumped up.

@covah

It's not canceled, and it was announced for both consoles (rather than as a timed exclusive), but the PS3 release date remains TBA.

So wait... they'll release this when it's done for 360 and hold off on it for PS3... but for FF13 they're going to finish the game on PS3 and wait to release it until it's done for 360 too? It seems to me like Square Enix has their tongue firmly clenched in Microsoft's ass hole these days.

I'm all for Square Enix making more money with both consoles, but they're treating the Sony fan base like garbage now it seems.

I'm still debating if I want to pick this up now. $40 is dam cheap, but there is so much coming out with online play that I would rather get now! I can hopefully pick this up in a few months for the same price maybe even cheaper. To many good games coming out!!!

I've been really impressed with Amazon lately, they've had a lot of nice deals.
