Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood isn’t a WWII shooter, thankfully. It’s good old-fashioned Western -- a genre that hasn’t been thoroughly raped and pillaged. Ubisoft recently released a trailer for the game (I know, it’s movie night) showing off some of its grit and story elements -- shootouts and Aztec treasure, hooray!
One thing is definitely confirmed: the McCall brothers want revenge. And it doesn’t look like anything or anyone is going to stop them from getting it.
If you’re down with cowboys and murder, Bound in Blood is probably high on your “DO WANT” list. Good news on that front. If you get around to visiting a GameStop before the game hits in June and pre-order the title, you’ll get access to “powerful weapons and classes.” Gotta love these deals.
Wow, that's definitely one effective trailer! The story comes off as a mix between The Outlaw Josey Wales and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I wish there were more clips of gameplay, but it's pretty much guaranteed that I'll be checking this game out.
That said, I'm still more hopeful for Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar has some stiff competition, but as long as the sequel can live up to the quality of the first, it'll be sure to come out on top. Considering the additions RDR is getting, I'm leaning toward that game to be the better.
The Western shooter genre does seem a tad untouched, methinks. Because other than this, what other titles are there? Gun and Red Dead Revolver? I'm glad it is a barely touched genre, makes these games feel more unique.
Anyway, that is a very convincing trailer. No written codes and virtually no laws, it seems to be a matter of shoot or be shot. And of course, cowboy draws, can't be a western game without one of those. So far, it seems good to me.
I think I bought the first one for $5 somewhere, played it for an hour and put it down, upside is there seemed to still be a strong multiplayer community.
I played the first one on PC, but it irritated me that it didn't support widescreen monitors so it was all stretched, but it was pretty fun- I am looking forward to the sequal
I think the trailer's very impressive. I'm actually interested in this game now, wasn't before. Never played the first one, but this looks pretty entertaining.
The voice acting in particular caught my eye. Sounded very appropriate.
This game is very appealing, the characters are all unique I mean hell the one brother is a priest and the other is a crazy bastard. Shit this has to be good, just from story point.

...Where's more info on Red Dead Redemption!?
