If you think you have what it takes to oil up your virtual superstar and step into the squared-circle with other oiled up virtual superstars, you're in for a treat. THQ has announced that a GameStop sponsored WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 tournament, that will have the winner scoring a pair of floor tickets to WrestleMania 24.
Three regions will compete (North America, United Kingdom, and Continental Europe) through February, with the top four players in each region particiating in regional finals in early March. Four finalists (two from North America, and one each from those other stinky regions that are not North America) will go head-to-head in a live showdown, which will take place during the 6th Annual THQ Superstar Challenge on March 27 at the House of Blues Orlando, Florida.
Registration opens tomorrow over at http://www.gamestop.com/svr, which doesn't lead anywhere right now. But you can keep refreshing it until it's live. We won't judge you (within earshot, at least).

Seriously, UFC may be real, but you still have the sweaty, partially naked men holding each other. In fact, UFC definitely features more sweaty dudes rolling around together than professional wrestling.
UFC contains just as much gayness without the benefit of racial stereotyping scantily clad lady's or midget abuse.
