While you wait for Gears of War 3, why not get your Transformers on? The upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron looks like it borrows more than a little from Epic's popular third-person shooter, and that's not an entirely bad thing.
So if you're already dedicated to your War for Cybertron purchase, maybe you should reserve it at Best Buy. Doing so will get you an exclusive multiplayer character, Jazz. (Get the headline now? Get "jazzed"? Get it?) The pre-order is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of the game only, for obvious reasons I'm sure owners of other consoles have come to terms with by now.
War for Cybertron hits shelves on June 22; we'll be checking out the latest build of the game later this week, so expect some new details over the next few weeks.

Shockwave was cool in the comics. But he was a gibbering weenie in the cartoon series.

Or that F'ed up microscope guy...Perceptor? Think about how awesome it would be to get into a huge scrape and then while your team mates turn into vehicles and skeedaddle you um....transform into a freaking microscope and...uh...just sit there I guess....quietly looking at microscopic stuff... until the end comes.
I'm getting Shockwave, but man, this is upsetting. I hate having to miss out on part of the experience...if it weren't for all this pre-ordering stuff, my game would have two more characters than it will when I buy it.
