Bored this weekend? Get into a fight at Fight.destructoid.com!
We've launched a streamlined way to challenge other players online to friendly wagered competitions of various Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 games, as well as Starcraft II. By challenging your friends to competitive games such as Marvel vs Capcom 3 or Fight Night Round 4, you can wager points to the winner of head to head or tournament style competitions. You will then be able to trade these points in for prizes as they become available! This system also allows you to create your own money matches, if you so desire.
Contest: Just by logging in and completing a match you will be entered to win this Razer Onza Tournament Edition Controller for the Xbox 360, a $50 value. As time goes on we will support more games, so if you don't have any of the games just yet, don't fret! Look for updates every friday.

Fight.Destructoid.com looks very slick, though more oriented to one on one competitive games which is great as there aren't many venues for this.
I don't tend to play those type of games but the usual FNF line up almost always has some team shooter games - so it's all good!
(Did anything ever happen with the "Meetup and Play" experiment, speaking of which? I never actually got around to trying the feature out, and now I don't see it anywhere...)
No PSN is really making sad. I want some Warhawk and Bad Company action :(

You can play for points for free. If you wanted to wager money, you would have to do that with your paypal account to play money matches. But points is totally free!
