Get excited! PS Home 1.55 out this Thursday
Yes! The highly anticipated Update 1.55 is making is finally making its way to PlayStation Home this week. The patch not only features essential fixes like updates to the wardrobe and furniture browser, but other generic enhancements as well! The result is pretty much what we all would want from our PlayStation Home experience: a smoother, more stable operation. I, for one, cannot wait. In no time we'll all be dancing and grooving in the street, much like we have hundreds of times before -- but better. But before you all flock onto the PlayStation Network to enjoy the new updates, just remember to beware of those attractive female avatars. You wouldn't want to find yourself rubbing up on an AFA only to find yourself a victim of that old "Quincy" bait and switch gag. Not that I've done that, or anything, but I totally have. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)hm, so does this mean the teased Oct. 5th thing or whatever is not a Home update? What does it mean...? Whenever I do use home, I'm one of those people using a female avatar. Really funny to see how fucked up most home users are. @sayword
Dude, that's an awesome idea. Ill make one too then we can pretend to be lezzies on home and see what kind of to-catch-a-predator shenanigans we can get into They should add a Mr Destructoid helmet. I might be inclined to use Home more often. Every time I go to check it out there's some long ass update so I cancel it and play a game instead. It's kinda cool, but rarely feel like bothering. The only thing I ever did in Home was run around and bump into people a lot. It was fun... the one time I ever did it. Home is booooooring. Logged in to Home a couple weeks ago, I was shocked with how populated it was, guess it wasn't a *complete* failure, though there's a lot Sony has to do to make it worth anything. Whatever happened to the "pop a DVD in and invite your buddies over to your fake house to watch it" feature that was promised? (MPAA probably threw a shit fit didn't they?) I've been on Home a lot lately. The Siren house is normally super populated with weirdos. But I've run into a ton of nice people on the Wipeout space and the Uncharted bar. Lots to look at and do, and since money has been tight lately the price is right! @timtheterrible I'm a fat guy and I did, in fact, make a fat avatar.
http://s1.proxy04.twitpic.com/photos/large/386588974.jpg I log on to home whenever something different happens. It's normally boring and takes forever to load stuff. If home was given a borderlands or even rusty hearts type make over I think it would attract more people I dont get the point of escaping real life by playing something thats mimics it then with that could into into making a free to play RPG giving people something to do besides waiting on line to bowl or play mini games that you can accesses from your home. Developers can make there own levels and dungeons and even collab together giving a reason to go on home with your friends and roam around. If sony teams up with GaiaOnline to produce some of their items and designs for characters pssht forget it now you have actual girls logging on PSN just for home. 7:00 PM on 09.23.2012 TGS: Amazing Farm takes next-gen gardening to new heightsI never thought I'd see a gardening game better than Odin Sphere, Waking Mars, or Harvest Moon, but Amazing Farm may just be it.
