As ubiquitous as iOS devices seem, it was a surprise to learn that Apple's App store is just five years old. To celebrate, Apple has made a selection of apps and games are available for free, including the recently released Badland and the superlative Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP

Epic's Infinity Blade II, Tiny Wings and Where's My Water? are the other three titles reduced. All are universal apps, apart from Tiny Wings, which has a separate iPad version. Since I got a new phone earlier in the year, I've been meaning to try out some new games, especially Badland after reading Casey's glowing review
