Sony has let loose that a casting call for The Tester: Season 3 has begun and the winner will get a job at Santa Monica Studios. You may be familiar with their work if you've ever played a little gem called God of War. If you want a shot at getting on the show you're encouraged to make a profile immediately because -- even if the show's staff doesn't select you -- there's a chance that you'll be voted into the 12th slot by the community. Voting for the show's final cast member begins August 24th and the deadline to submit your entry will be September 16th.
If you're unfamiliar with the show remember that you can always watch the first two seasons via the PlayStation Network. If you like what you see, Sony claims everything will be much grander in scale this time around. Sony won't be revealing details on how they're improving season 3 until later, but consider that the last winners were hired as Quality Assurance Testers and now they're offering a position in production. Maybe that'll end some of the "worst prize ever" jokes.

Seriously, I just get so much fun out of it.
When I got out of my testing job, I was making $9.50/hr, having scored a sweet fifty cent raise after the first eight months. Didn't make it to full time status despite the 80-hour workweeks, though.
