I'm not sure how I missed out on Geon: Emotions when it came to XBLA but I did. Now that I have gone back and played the demo, I really wish I'd picked it up at a time when I could have any reasonable expectation of being able to play against a real-life opponent.
Thankfully, it looks like I'll be getting a second chance. A new version of Geon will be coming to the Wii in February of 2009 boasting some new features. These include a 4-player split-screen mode, simplified controls (not exclusively waggle, but there will be some) and an imporoved single-player game for when I get to be so awesome at it that none of my friends will ever want to play with me again.
Did anybody here wind up getting the first version? Did you like it? I'm kinda torn on picking it up with the Wii version on the horizon but I'd probably do so if I thought there might be others out there itching for an opponent.

It looks pretty OK. Is this being released on a disc or via WiiWare?
I liked the demo (as did my girlfriend) but I didn't think I'd spend enough time with it to warrant the purchase.
Holy cow, this looks like a fun multiplayer game
Is this WiiWare or a disc release, Conrad? From the press release, it sounds like a disc release.
I remember trying out the demo on XBLA, and at the time it seemed to me like a glorified Pac-Man, and I'd already gotten one of those.
It hasn't been specified whether this is a disc-based or WiiWare release. That said, my money is on the disc.
Trippy.
Intriguing ...
