Gentlemen, start your Left 4 Dead 2 demo pre-loads photo

Did you pre-order Left 4 Dead 2 through Steam and simply cannot wait to get those files on your computer?

Even if you can't play them until Tuesday, just having the files there on your computer would make you the happiest person in the world. Knowing that some how the four new L4D characters are just waiting there for you, about to take on "The Parish" and brandish their new weapons, gets you really excited deep in the recesses of your soul. Then why are you here? If you're that obssessed with L4D 2 I would have assumed you already knew that Valve released the demo for pre-load last night.

In case you ordered the game through other means (retail), it appears that you may now pick up your access codes and download the demo now too. It's tough having to wait for downloads when you could be playing a game, so why not get it done ahead of time? Go now overly-obsessed-with-L4D 2 reader and download.

I pre ordered it... and I didn't get anything. Fucking gamestop assholes. I asked a chick about this the other day and she was like "oh yeah when you get the game a code will be in there so you can download it"

Oh yeah, I'm totally up for downloading the demo of the game I just bought. Imbecile.

I don't know what kind of response I was expecting, this is the gamestop where I went to pre order Uncharted 2 and was asked if I wanted it for the 360. I mean COME THE FUCK ON. I don't expect the game slingers at gamestop to know about every game, but at least get the big ones right.

For those in Boston, I'm talking about the downtown crossing one.

Just in case anyone doesn't bother to read their preoder cards from Gamestop, please don't try and enter your redeem code for the 360 version before 11 PM PST of October 27th. It only says about four times on the card that the code will be invalidated if you do, and you're going to feel really dumb after you do it.

Asked a friend who works at GameStop, got in the code cards yesterday (which the computers said they were due to show up). So quit yer bitchin and go pick it up. Otherwise, wah.

Why don't "System Requirements" as listed in Steam store list any AMD processors?

Has Steam got some proprietary agreement with Intel?
Why is it so difficult to find out what is the AMD system requirement?

Minimum:
o Supported OS: Windows® 7 / Vista / Vista64 / XP
o Processor: Pentium 4 3.0GHz
Recommended:
o Supported OS: Windows® 7 / Vista / Vista64 / XP
o Processor: Intel core 2 duo 2.4GHz

I dont know about you geeks, but Im stoked for Left 4 Dead 2! I am in need of new levels and weapons to shit upon weaklings with. I eagerly anticipate a taste of the demo to come! When the previous demo acame out, my buddies and I molested it. I am drooling at the prospect of shitting on the chests of you weak ass whiners. Get at me when the time comes to get yours.

Bah. Preordered from Amazon, did not get demo code after having had trouble finding "participating retailers" list referred to on Xbox.com; cancelled preorder, reordered @ Gamestop and am hoping to receive email code from Gamestop shortly. Waiting really sucks.

(I'm not seeing the demo in my Marketplace; do I have to do anything special to make it show up? I assume I have to enter the Gamestop code online somewhere.)
