I love the Monster World games. Always have. As a Sega kid, I was always talking about the series games. People would ignore me. I'd curse under my breath, scowl, and go about playing them alone. F*ck those people.

But now! Now that it's all cool and old and retro, and now that one game never made it to North America, let's all dance and cheer and eat ice cream for the upcoming PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade release of Monster World IV. No, I'm not bitter.

The lovely Japanese only sequel to the Wonder Boy In Monster World series, Monster World IV, will finally see a release in America, says a new ESRB listing. I'm with GamerBytes in being surprised that this wasn't a Virtual Console release. I'll take it any way I can get it, though.

I know there was a fan translation a few years back. I wonder if Sega used that.

PS4, PS Vita space shooter Futuridium looks like pure arcade fun

MixedBag's space shooter Futuridium looked rad on PS Vita, but when it comes to PlayStation games, one version doesn't cut it any more. Not when there's the possibility of Cross-Buy. Thankfully, the expanded Futuridium EP De...more
