Geek chic: This Monster Hunter jacket is too much to handle photo

Oh yes, it's time for another edition of Geek Chic where we look at gaming related fashion.

This Monster Hunter jacket is ridiculously hot. With that said though, I’ll never be caught wearing this thing. It reminds me of those horrible Wolf Moon shirts for some odd reason. Plus, I’m pretty sure something like this costs a lot. I’m not sure though as I can’t read Dengeki. Dengeki is also showing off some Monster Hunter themed mugs and little figurines. [Thanks, Eva!]

There’s more Geek Chic to be had! Hit the break to check out a few new shirts and some gaming themed shoes too.

Two new awesome gaming shirts are up on SplitReason. One is this Mega Man shirt that was made by the same guy who made our Destructoid Rampage shirt. Poor Mega Man. He can’t even play his own game!

The other shirt is this Bomberman goes shopping shirt. Really clever and cute! Both are on sale for $19.

The Valve store got two new shirts last week. One is of the Sniper with his jar of pee and the other is of the Spy being the badass that he is. The shirts are on sale for $20 a pop. [Via Offworld]

Here’s something that’s just completely weird. Japanese brand A Bathing Ape is designing Pokemon shirts. This is the results. Yeah, I don’t know what’s going on either. [Via GoNintendo]

Our last Geek Chic item of the week are these gaming themed shoes from Brassmonki. Check out the Sonic, Street Fighter IV and Mario themed kicks.

Bathing Ape shirt and Valve shirts are nice. Might make my own limited edition and get my nephew TF2 for 360 w/ a t-shirt for his birthday.

I love the jacket, Mega Man shirt, Bomberman shirt, and Sonic sneakers. I'm sure they're all expensive as hell but one can dream! :-D

That Monster Hunter jacket would be really cool if I owned a motorcycle or something. That logo, though...ugh.

Incidentally, I hope MH Freedom Unite is doing well over here. I really want MH3 to make it across the pond. VGchartz notes about 85k+ sales over 3 weeks so far, which are more than double that of Valkyria Chronicles in a month (33k). Do you think that'll catch Capcom's eye?

The jacket is Approx 300+ bucks, mugs are around 12, and keychains are like 2 bucks each. Just logical thinking and observation lol.

God, I wish woot didn't spoil me so bad. I can't seriously consider any shirt over $10 anymore. Which is a shame, because the Sniper shirt is sweet.

I would love to wear a jacket made of actual Rathian plates *reaches for True Devil Slicer*. That one's a little garish, but what the hell, it's eye-catching enough.

MHF2U should do better over here, especially with the inclusion of the Felyne co-hunters, which make excellent decoys (plus, they're immortal!).

It takes a real man with pride to wear one around, brings in ALL the ladies.

I kinda dig the Monster Hunter jacket, but I'm put off by the fact that most of it looks like someone ate a rainbow and vomited on it. Still, I'd wear it, as well as that BomberMan shirt, that shirt is just brilliant.
