Geek chic: Shirts, blankets and a really weird hat thingy photo

Oh yes, it's time for another edition of Geek Chic where we look at gaming related fashion.

There's a nice assortment to talk about this week. First up is this shirt called Game Over. Time has passed in the Mushroom Kingdom and the heroes and villains of the world are all enjoying their retirement. Also, Yoshi is dead. (Via Offworld)

Hit the break for a half dozen more gaming shirts, blankets and the wtf Tetris hat.

This next shirt might not exist anymore. It's an awesome take on the Pac-Man series, but the site it came from looks like it's done Shirt Woot style in that you only have a day to purchase the shirt. Then it's gone forever. I think. It might be somewhere if you do some digging on TeexTile. (Via The Awesomer)

Speaking of Shirt Woot, they have a new videogame related design on sale. It's called Bacon Bits and it's a take on Space Invaders but with bacon.

My favorite from this week's shirt collection is the Called For Help shirt from Glennz. I just love the 8-bit look of the Ecto-1. Check out the Space Defenders shirt while you're over there.

Some new Monster Hunter merchandise is on the way, which include these two very ugly shirts. I like the character designs, but what the hell is up with the prison strips? (Via TinyCartridge).

Sam and Fuzzy has joined up with Topatoco (my favorite online shirt store) last week and they have a cute little videogame related shirt up for sale.

Our good pal Glen Brogan needs your help! He has this fantastic Mega Man shirt on deck over at SplitReason but he needs some positive reviews to get printed! Go cast your votes!

Videogame shirts not your thing? Well how about some videogame blankets?! Etsy user punzie has made Mario, Kirby and Bubble Bobble themed blankets that look like they will do a good job at keeping your retro loving body warm at night.

Finally, we have this ... thing. It's Tetris related somehow. Yeah. (Via .tiff's Typepad)

i'm not a big fan of shirts that draw too much attention to themselves, but the pac-man shirt is faaaaaaantaaaaastic.

if i can't find that i'm going to be a pirate and recreate it myself.

@Starman:

The first guy on the shirt is Fuzzy as himself from the comic Sam and Fuzzy (http://www.samandfuzzy.com/). Read it for great enjoyment!

I got a kick out of most of those shirts. I didn't get the prison stripes one. But I just woke up so I'm easily amused right now. =P
