To get you in the mood for the upcoming Gears of War 3, Epic Games and Microsoft have announced the release of the Gears of War Triple Pack. This special bundle collects both Gears of War and Gears of War 2, plus Gears of War 2's "Road to Ruin" campaign.

In addition to that, the collection boasts 19 extra multiplayer maps for a total of 38 maps spread across both games. All of this comes at what could be considered a rather bargain price of $29.99. The Triple Pack won't include the Gears of War Map Pack 1 or the Hidden Fronts Map Pack, but both can be downloaded on Xbox Live for free.

I've played the crap out of both of these games, but speaking as quite a big Gearhead, I'm keen on picking this up. Can't go wrong at thirty bucks for that much content, I reckon.
