Microsoft is continuing the Gears of War franchise with Black Tusk Studios. I wasn't expecting to hear much about the new installment next month at E3 -- perhaps, at best, a teaser trailer -- but it's possible the company will be ready to talk about the project sooner than I had anticipated.

Tomorrow at 5:00pm Pacific on Twitch, Black Tusk will put on a live stream with studio manager Rod Fergusson (formerly of Epic and 2K) fielding community questions. Granted, this could just be a bunch of "no comment" responses, but I'm weirdly eager to find out what direction the series will take going forward. I suppose that's what happens when you've stuck with Gears for this long.
