Gears of War cog swag points at viral campaign, also, win this thing photo

We got a mysterious little box at the office today. Plain black and stamped with the familiar red Gears of War logo on the top, I opened it to find this metal cog inside and a small note which read "If found, visit gearsofwar.com/lastday and enter the CSID#" (the other side of the gear has a code inscribed on it). Hmm, could this be a case of viral marketing, by chance? Seems like people have been chatting about it on the GOW community blogs for a little while now.

At any rate, this thing makes a really cool paperweight, but since I'm no Gears fan it's hardly fair to keep it. That being said, I'm going to give it to one of you and let you explore the mysterious trail and where it leads. Winning it is simple: be the 217th person to leave a comment and you win it. Go!

since I think gears of war is on the same level as professional wrestling (muscled guys kicking ass) and I would rather watch football, this is a pointless post to add to the very sad post count, good luck to the spamming winner!
