Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

Though you can't top the perfection that is the Gears of War ad with Mad, Mad World playing over top, fans of the ad have decided to continue creating their own versions of the ad with their favorite songs over top. For those of you living in a bomb shelter for the last few months, the original Gears ad is posted above for your viewing pleasure.

After reading my previous post about the remixed Gears of War ads, two of our readers, Hotzizzy and Wigpac sent in their own remixed versions and I can't deny our readers a little front page time.

Check out their videos after the jump.

"Taking over me" By Evanescence. Created by Hotzizzy

"Soldier Side" By System of a Down. Created by Hotzizzy.

"Scared" By Three Days Grace. Created by Hotzizzy.

"Come Sail Away" By Cartman from South Park. Created by Hotzizzy. This was just creepy on so many levels, dude

"Openning Theme" From Cannon Fodder game. Created by Wigpac

Thanks for the great remixes!

Personally, I got tired of the 're-mixes' when I saw the last ones.

Anyone feel like linking me to a direct download for this video? I want to try making my own.

Though seriously, you can't top the original. That song is too good.

I agree with Mabec, give me the original or give me none. For serious attempts anyway. I like when the video is made to be funny, like in Cartman's "Come Sail Away" remix. Try some carney music, that might work.

Somebody really has to do Lux Aeterna version of this commercial. That would truly kick ass!

The System one was pretty good, the Cartman and Cannon Fodder ones were...wierd, and the rest were just plain bad.

Man, the last batch was a whole bunch of concentrated awesome that just kicked your face's ass all over the room. This bunch is crap. Utter garbage. I want the time I spent watching them back, so I can do something better with the time.

I can't figure out why people insist on re-making this spot, the song they used is perfect.

Spend more time on important things, like Stephen Colbert's Green Screen Challenge!

The Mad World one makes me want to kill Cliffy B. As it is the number 1 most boring song in existance, (except Coldplay ).
