Oh yes, now you're showing me the shit I wanna see, Epic!
This is the official "reveal" trailer for Gears of War 3's campaign mode. Some people (fools) like to think Gears doesn't have a campaign worth noting. I say it's the reason I started liking the series, and the third game looks set to have a hot one!
The video shows off loads of grunting, monsters, and explosions, all set to "War Pigs." I've got a boner now.
Fap fap fap... I agree, Jim, the Gears campaigns are great. The story could have used a bit of a touch up in the second game, but I thoroughly enjoyed ever second of both games so far. Well... Except for that one part. I swear if Dom has another missing relative I will beg him to put me out of my misery, too. lol
This looks intense, epic have gone all out on gears 3, its going to be amazing! now to wait for sexual chocolate to be the troll he is and say "THIS IS JUST A RENT FOR ME" over and over again on every single post with gears 3
Some people just don't like the Gears campaign. Doesn't mean their trolls or fools.
I enjoy it but I don't like multiplayer so I will probably rent it. Its like a really silly/awesome action movie, I can let go and have a blast.
I've had way more fun playing and replaying the campaign of both Gears games on co-op than with the glitchy multiplayer. I can't wait for this, especially now that there's four player co-op.
I've only played one game of Gears multiplayer. I've played the campaigns of both games about two or three times each. Just recently I finished playing through the first one with my brother. The first is great but the second is even better.
Gears 1's campaign was alright. It was fun, but it kind of lacked a strong story and character development. They went into that way more with Gears 2, and I think that's why I find that one more enjoyable. And it's looking to go into even more with Gears 3. I can't freaking wait for this game. The beta was fun, but I'm wanting the campaign way more than the multiplayer.
Gears 2's campaign is one of the best ever in terms of setpieces and raw action. This should only be better, and for that, I'm buying this game. FOR SURE. If it has some great Mp too, I'll be even more glad I made my purchase

Looks like the Gears 3 campaign is going to be as over the top as its predecessors. This pleases me.
Also, I can't help but notice how the COG's basic helmet design changes with every game. I personally don't mind as it keeps things fresh, but what with being on the verge of extinction, can they really afford to revamp their helmets and armor every few years?
Gears of War games are must haves for co-op; they're seriously some of the (if not the) most notable generation-defining experiences...
But the stories are so underwhelming, and thematically predictable. GoW2 ruined it for me. I wrote a very passionate comment in the GoW2 campaign trailer page here on Dtoid, after seeing how impressively they created the feeling of a poetic pyrrhic victory or a suicide mission. And then I played the game... completely misleading themes.
Oh man, that looks like the Emulsion Rig, stalks and Lambent Leviathan from the end of the 3rd book. Sexy time. Can't wait to see Boomer Lady kicking ass.
Absolutely love the campaigns not to mention horde. Regarding trailer, it looked awesome but warpigs didn't fit in my opinion, not that I'm some trailer connoisseur but I've seen it done much better I.e. warhammer and most recent ubisoft trailers. I digress, "thats 5 motherfuckers!!!" Also, Cole(s).
I enjoy Gears campaigns and story as much as any game I have played. Come Sept. the Wife and I will once again lay waste to the Locust Horde! Waaaaaar Fenix!
While it would have been nice for Gears of War: Judgment to come out of the gate with more content, the fact that some of the post-release DLC is free helps reduce the sting.
