A humble offering of three Gears of War 3 screenshots have appeared in the wild -- not much, but we'll take them. The new images show Anya getting down and dirty, having gone from glorified secretary to full-on asskicker. Or ballkicker, if the screen seen above is to be believed.
We also get to see Marcus in his sexy new attire, rocking a summer look with a cut-off sleeve design and a light color scheme that really brings out those come-to-bed eyes. Wait, what?

Us gear heads have been hearing the same stupid arguments against the game since the first one, guess what? We still like it because despite having a wet-paper-bag storyline and misplaced emotional trauma doesn't mean it's not a great multiplayer title that i'll remember for years.
In fact i'll remember Gears of War 1 being the last good online commmunity I ever played on. Alot of diverse people of all races and alot of female players on the original gears. Everybody got along, everybody had a great time. Gaming has changed. The COD generation ensured that online gaming won't be the same for anyone again.

I met more cool people playing gears than any other online game.
I probably missed the memo, but I didn't realize there is going to be women in Gears 3. Thats pretty cool. Equal rights n all.. its about time those bitches went to fight some aliens too :) Seriously though, its a good thing. I know plenty of girls who play these games and would rather not have to constantly be a meat-headed dude. Now they can be a meat-headed woman with lovely hair instead.
If Killzone 3 had a chainsaw gun would you stop playing it?
I know people rip on it, but i like the style of gears. the steroid abusing, meat-head, space marines in their oversized armor. The guns with mutha fucking chainsaws on them. the gore.. oh, how i wish i had the gore. that heavy weight rodeo run and the following slam into cover. i love over-the-top sci fi. yeah, other games imitate gears, but none of them actually ARE gears.
Uncharteds are great games, but nathan drake is a bit too joe average for my liking. hes a cool guy, but hes no space marine.
Killzone is my gore/space marine fix on the PS3 ;)
Sometime this year, THQ is going to release a multi-platform "Gears of War" style TPS set in the 40K universe which means REAL (British) meathead steroidal super-man space marines with lots of gore, and they even have chainsaw swords. In this case I think they will be Ultramarines who are space marines that run around in blue armor trying to be courageous and noble in the Ancient Roman Empire sense.
I'm told there may not be much cover-taking going on though. 40K space marines mostly charge in and nail stuff right in the face with a plasma-pistol rather than wait for an opportunity to blind fire from behind a crotch-high wall.
And I can't wait for the beta :(
