Gears of War 3 'Forces of Nature' map pack detailed

Feb 17 // Jordan Devore    @DtoidJordan

GameTrailers TV brought on Gears of War 3 executive producer Rod Fergusson to talk about another downloadable map pack dubbed "Forces of Nature." Three of the maps -- "Artillery," "Aftermath," and "Cove" -- are brand new, but there's also the familiar locales "Jacinto" and "Raven Down."

There was a brief mention of Elemental Cleavers, which are hidden in four of the maps and produce different visual effects when attacking others. You're also getting four more characters, though only the Savage Hunter is totally new; the others should look familiar to those who follow pre-order bonuses.

Fergusson didn't mention a price, but he did say "Forces of Nature" would be available for download on Tuesday, March 27. Any interest in this? I dig the natural-disasters theme.
