GDC: War of the Roses trailer shows first gameplay

3:30 PM on 03.08.2012

Conceptually, Fat Shark's War of the Roses sounds promising. Team-based skirmishes using bows and swords, tiered skill trees, and player leveling -- yup, this has the potential to turn out quite well.

This week at GDC, Paradox Interactive put out a trailer for the game. While it's only pre-alpha footage for now, the setup and what's on display here has me interested in what's to come. As much as I appreciate the varied projects the publisher works on, I'm often not in the target niche. They've got me, just this once.
