Does that make me a bad person?
Looks good, though I'm a bit more concerned if they can get more down on substantial gameplay than animation and story telling.
Somebody who played the game and the only thing that he/she remembered from it was this 'Jason, Jason' line, is truly pathetic.
It's true that the emotional message in this game is not on par with the other, better established, media, but just look at how ridiculous movies were in 1920's.
There's still a room for improvement, but hey, if you prefer clones of Mario, Master Chief or Nathan Drake just because there's no "Jason, Jason" in there, well I guess you deserve to be labeled as 'immature, prone to violence...' or whatever those people like Jack Thompson are trying to prove
"I am entirely at your disposal as a sexual partner" - Ahh the future.
..And Holy shit when the "I'm scared" popped up...that video was pretty amazing!
This should make you despair even further.....i haven't even played heavy rain! That's right, I mocked something I haven't even played!
Who pissed in your cornflakes this morning?
Thank you. I just can't stand these constant bashing against every thing that has something to do with Quantic Dream.
If you hate Heavy Rain - good, that's an opinion. But stop posting this pathetic nonsense about David Cage etc. Calm down, see what evolves from this and then criticize.
Nor did I understand the bashing that was directed at David Cage, the man behind one of my personal favorite games of all time: "Indigo Prophecy." Quantic Dream's last two games were reminders of what an open artform video games can be if used properly, and were far more ambitious than a lot of other "thriller" games.
Quantic Dream is a talented, competent developer, who really doesn't deserve the asshattery people seem to foister on them.

The man can definitely make games, though. Just leave the other stuff to professionals, or sane people.
@sofik
And yet you'd kiss his ass all day long if something of his came to the 360.
Pedrovay2003: Heavy Rain was about the complete package. An interactive cinematic experiance. I didn't find much to fault in the gameplay. I, like many others take issue with the broken narrative, poor dialogue and spotty acting. Oh, and please think of the children. Those horrid, creepy children.
Really what the hell is the point of doing a prototype of this kind at this point of the PS3 cycle if it's not supposed to be representative of any larger project. It's a fine short film I guess but seems utterly useless in any other context.
And the subject matter is obviously well trodden.
Still, it shows some improvement.
Now can Quantic Dreams make a game that lives up to this?
Not likely.
Will the gameplay be good?
Nope.
