oops...

-machinima
-new music release listening parties
-clubhouses for clans
-art galleries
this is going to be great
I just hope they wont be charging me something crazy for that nice apartment... or anything on PSH for that matter
oh! it would be cool if you could go to a bed and sleep and it would turn off your ps3! or put it in sleep mode... or something, I don't know.
a build your own home feature would be cool too.
It looks so awesome.. but now I need a PS3 & a PSP?? 900 bucks... I think they should call it First-Life, because if you spend that much you might as well say goodbye to it..
Customizable wallpaper.. Im making the first destructoid lobby! Fuck ya'll! Robo wallpaper FTW!
also, that's the first time I've heard Phil Harrison talk with a more happy additude. He's pretty psyched to be getting good PR that actually is true.
Snaileb: the psp is virtual
Snaileb, why do I picture the wallpaper on your lobby would involve some sort of hairy woman raping Sonic the hedgehog?
I just get this bad feeling...
xrayne = too bad all the other costs and associated items needed to enjoy this "free" download aren't virtual as well.
Yeah, PS3 aint exactly cheap.... I also hope there is not nay retarded mico transactions in game.
"Aww, you made a friend if you want to talk to this friend and other friends it's only $1 a min $2 long distance!"
dvddesign: who cares, this is worth it. if virtual console can sleep at night selling the original sonic for $8, i really don't want to hear any bitching about anything this cool coming out with a reasonable price tag
as adamantly as I've fought the PS3 fans over how badly sony treats them... this looks pretty damned good, its a shameless steal from Wii and 360 concepts but frankly its about time they started learning from competition.
Diomeneus: well said
When I first heard of PSHome, I was thinking that the apartment would act like, say, the Xbox guide. I could decorate my apartment with items earned by unlocking them ingame (like achievments). Or, if I wanted to watch a game video, I'd go my TV, if I wanted to play an arcade game, I'd go to a pinball machine, etc. Basically, it would be the menu OS, but presented in a cool, unique way.
But this weired Second Life ripoff? Uh, its not for me, but its free, its not required, and Sony's trying, so hey, good for them.
Hm...reminds me of The Sims...but in a good way. I really think this has lots of potential, although I’m not sure if people are quite ready for this kind of implementation in what is still, ostensibly, a video game console. But I suppose that’s the “wave of the future,” then, isn’t it...
Ya know, as much as I hate the PS3 I think the whole Home thing is pretty cool. I'm sure as hell not payin premium for some freakin virtual furniture though. It should all be unlockable according to how high your gamerscore is.
Schnap.
I'm getting me a PS3 just for that.
as soon as I get a job, and that necklace for teh lady, and my car fixed, and a 360, and all the good 360 games, and a better TV.
Actually I was going to post XBL and Ninty ad's everywhere because it be funnier than Sony ad's , but hey, you can read me like a book, DVD.
