During his GDC 2011 keynote, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has confirmed that the Nintendo 3DS will get both SEGA Game Gear and Turbo Grafx 16 games.
The titles will be available on the 3DS' downloadable content service and will join the Game Boy titles that were already confirmed.
That's about all the information provided at this time, but that's pretty dang cool, right?

So maybe the games would be good once you can see them?
Come on, it's a no brainer. If anything needs to be downloadable for the 3DS, it's VB games.
Wouldn't you rather have a VB collection cart, the graphics all redone in full color instead of eye-bleed red? That would be ideal!
That said, why do I get the feeling Nintendo's holding back on adding GBA games just for the sake of playing nice with Sega and NEC here for a bit?
Cool addition all the same, but GBA stuff needs be confirmed at least.
I got the feeling that GBA wasn't mentioned because Nintendo wants to pimp some of them on the '3D Classics' section first.

Right? I mean, we all know the GBA's are coming eventually. Why are they teasing us?
And while I'm sure we'd never see Wonderswan/Color games on the 3DS I can always hope for that too while I'm at it. :)
