Telltale Games isn’t done with the Sam & Max adventure series. The studio has announced the third downloadable season, “The Devil’s Playhouse,” which looks to begin hitting in monthly increments starting on April 15th.
Perhaps more startling is the fact that Telltale is set on plopping the new 5-part season onto PSN. As revealed last afternoon via press release, and during their shindig at GDC a foggy night ago, the series premiere, “The Penal Zone,” will debut on PSN as well as the PC and Macintosh. Check below the fold for the first trailer, which teases a bit of the series’ story. Spoiler: it has something to do with Max getting psychic abilities.
Season 1 was good , but really Season 2 is where they hit their stride in the series. If you thought Season 1 was at least....decent I really suggest you give 2 a go. With that being said BYAGHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm way excited for this.
I wonder if the sound will be as compressed and awful as the ones in Season 1 on PC. Man, how the developers got away with sound quality like that boggles the mind. Hissing sounds for every 'S' uttered in any dialog sequence.

Cool news for PSN folks... I will of course be getting these on PC. They better not screw up the controls like they did for Monkey Island.
Sorry, had to get that out there. Kinda wish the new episodes were as great as Hit The Road, but oh well.
