GDC 09: Modern Warfare 2 teaser released, game dated

10:37 PM on 03.25.2009

The 9th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards ended with a bang -- a bang that could only be brought by a teaser for a hype-inducing game of Modern Warfare 2's level. Infinity Ward put the debut video for the first-person shooter on full display, and you better believe we've got it embedded post-jump.

Besides a green-tinted montage of various locales accompanied by cries of agony and constant gunfire, and of course Modern Warfare 2's release date (November 10 of this year), it's not a whole lot for more casual fans to go on.

But, you know what? It's quite frankly better than nothing at all. A solid release date will surely get hardcore Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare players excited. Now, I've got to ask, when's the beta coming, guys?

Zombies, monsters, Captain America: Call of Duty is different in China

In China, the Call of Duty series is devoid of Kevin Spacey, but that doesn't mean they won't try to sell it with big American actors. This live-action trailer for Call of Duty Online, the China-exclusive free-to-play Call of Duty, features Captain America's (and Snowpiercer's) Chris Evans.  There are also some lacking CG zombies and Gears of War style giant monsters.more
