Last week at GDC, DICE threw a party to give us the first look at Battlefield Bad Company 2. DICE went all out with old school style post cards, little toy tanks and even an ice sculpture tank that shot out alcohol!

As for the game though, it really looks like more of the same. The demonstration started off with the Bad Company team from the first game somewhere in Russia. The Bad Company team went through a snow filled Russian town taking out enemies left and right.

The team eventually made their way to a truck which they used to get out of the area. The player was tasked to take out enemies coming after them from the back of the truck. Guys on ATVs, trucks and even a helicopter all chase after Bad Company, making for a pretty fun looking sequence.

After the jump, you can check out a new teaser trailer showing off the rock paper scissors battle system that the Bad Company is known for. Anyone looking forward to this?

There are going to be a metric ton of military shooters this year, Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2, the new Operation Flashpoint and Arma 2. I am really excited for these games, let's which one will convince me :)

I wish they ALL the best featuers from every military shooter game and combined it into one game of pure awesomeness. Also I hope Bad Company comes out for the PC.

Loved, loved, loved, loved, LOVED Bad Company. The game I spent the most time with last year (even over Fallout 3 and COD4), and the only game in which I've ever been ranked in the top 100 players in the world.
Cannot fucking wait for this. This and Flashpoint.
I'M GONNA DOWN ME SOME CHOPPERS.

Good to hear, I actually did'nt touch the multi in the first one and enjoyed the single player a lot.

Thought the characters where 2-D, the dialouge was, IMHO, hilarious and very well acted. The story was decent as well.

I look forward to this game.

I like this move towards arctic levels Uncharted 2 will have it and so will this game. Hell even MGS4 when you go back to Shadow Moses is an arctic level. I have always loved the way a snow covered field and trees look and I cant wait to blow them up in Bad Company.

I love Bad Company because of how much I could destroy and the story was nice in my opinion. It's going to be nice when i get to see everyone again or maybe even new members to the "b" company. But the one thing that will always bring me back to that game is the multiplayer. I always like to destroy the billboards and what DICE put on the billboards makes a connection to the game in my opinion, its like i would see those things in real life, so why not in the game thats based in the present?

Yes! More mediocre game play with jokes that may or may not hit the floor without laughter.

I had a feeling that would loop around like that.

I never got around to playing the first Bad Company game, I may have to check it out in time for this one, as I heard good things.

I had horrible lag problems with Bad Company, but the single player was a lot of fun, when the MP worked it was superb, but the lag really ruined it for me.

I really hope they don't just drop the singleplayer elements to focus on the multiplayer, since honestly that was the main reason you'd be playing Bad Company...

Oh wow. I liked Bad Company enough for this to really intrigue me. I hope they just make a better single-player campaign...
