GDC 08: Microsoft Blogger Breakfast photo

Ladies and gentlemen, Destructoid's Ron "Ansel Adams" Workman is an excellent photographer. Seriously folks, I'm not sure that the pictures he took during this morning's Microsoft Bloggers Breakfast could have been any blurrier or more poorly framed. I only post them here for you today so that you may at least begin to understand my pain.

But the pictures aren't really what was important about this morning's invite-only bloggers breakfast, nor is it the fantastic bacon served. Microsoft heavy-hitters Aaron Greenberg, Chris Satchell, and John Schappert were kind enough to break bread with some of the Internet's "blogging elite," including Chris from Wired|GameLife, Brian from Kotaku, Trina from Gaming Angels, and more. We're not exactly sure why we were invited, but we're thankful for the opportunity. And the bacon.

Besides shooting the bull, the three were open to talk about all things Microsoft, including the recently announced XNA initiatives, last year's Xbox LIVE outages, hardware shortages and more. Full audio of the blogger breakfast (including witty interjections by Ron "Herb Ritts" Workman) can be found here.

The sessions ran a bit over an hour, and is definitely worth a listen. You might want to fry up some bacon before giving it a listen. The experience really isn't the same without it.

I like bacon, I also like Workman's name card. That man is a pro.

The clanging forks and the giant table dwarf the dialog.

@Workman
Michael J Fox can take better pictures than you. Were you playing Heroin Hero before breakfast?

Those pictures make Nick look like a blurry Tom Cruise.

Bacon Salt, for when you want everything to taste like bacon, but are trying to avoid triple bypass surgery.

When I get home I'll fry up some eggs and give it a listen since I don't eat meat. <3

PS: I don't eat meat only because the feeling of dead flesh in my mouth makes me vomit for some reason. I did not choose to be born this way but that's just how I am. I'm not some Animal rights crazy person... just so you know. Meat just always makes me vomit.

Was he taking these with his cell phone or something? Sheesh. Also, I would sadly have to decline any invitation to a “blogger breakfast” — I don’t function well at 8 AM.

Who is the woman sitting next to Nick? I don't recognize her. In fact, there's a few people there that I have no freaking clue who they are. All game bloggers must register with me.

Also, I see Chris Kohler... WAS NEX THERE? I MUST KNOW.
